Dolna Odra Powerplant

The construction of two state-of-the-art gas-vapour block with the combined power of 1400 MW in Nowe Czarnowo is a strategic project of the PGE Group, carried out by the PGE Gryfino 2050 company.
The investment’s budget is PLN 4.7 billion. The blocks emission levels will meet the stringent environmental requirements. To facilitate the delivery process for the powerplant a barge port was built on the Odra river in the area of the so-called Cold Canal of the Dolna Odra Powerplant.
